Professional QA Testing for Websites & Applications
Find the problems before your customers do.
Manual software testing for businesses preparing to launch, release, or improve their digital products.
Starting at $700 · All engagements begin with a paid Scope & Strategy Consultation
Resolve the two high-severity defects before production release.
Manual Testing
Hands-on testing by an experienced QA professional.
Clear Documentation
Actionable bug reports your developers can actually use.
Release Confidence
Understand what’s working, what isn’t, and what should be addressed before launch.
A defined process, before a single test is run.
Every engagement follows the same four steps, so you always know what is being tested, what it costs, and when it happens.
Project Inquiry
Tell me what you need tested.
QA Scope & Strategy
Working session, review of your product, and a written QA Scope Summary.
Approve Your Scope
Receive your final testing scope, package, timeline, and price.
QA Testing
Testing begins once the scope and engagement are approved.
Defects your developers can act on immediately.
Every confirmed defect is documented the same way, so nothing gets lost in translation between testing and the fix.

But separate goals count separately.
= 4 workflows
Not sure how many workflows you have? You don’t need to count them yourself. I’ll identify them during your Scope & Strategy Consultation.
QA Scope & Strategy
A 45–60 minute working session, my review of your product and documentation, and a written QA Scope Summary
What your $300 covers. This is billable professional work, not a sales call.
The working session
A 45–60 minute conversation about your product, your users, and what worries you about this release.
Hands-on analysis
My own review of your site or application and any documentation you provide, done outside the session.
A written QA plan
A document setting out my professional QA opinion and a recommended testing plan for your product.
During this session, we’ll review
Your critical workflows, product documentation, testing environment, browsers and devices, access requirements, test data, known concerns, release timeline, and testing limitations.
Afterward, you receive
- Recommended QA package
- Defined testing workflows
- Included and excluded scope
- Browser/device coverage
- Documentation requirements
- Testing limitations
- Estimated timeline
- Final project quote
Need a Little More Coverage?
Standard engagements may include up to two add-ons.
Additional workflows are priced to your package. Starting at +$300 with QA Bug Sweep, +$350 with Release Readiness, and +$500 with Full QA Audit — a workflow costs more where the testing goes deeper. Final pricing depends on the complexity of the workflow itself.
Turnaround is confirmed with your final quote. Every project differs in size and complexity, and scheduling reflects current availability — your timeline is set in your QA Scope Summary before any work begins.
Priority QA is offered for expedited projects where my schedule permits — a $2,000 engagement becomes $2,700, a $5,000 engagement becomes $6,750.
More than two add-ons? Your project will be quoted as a Custom QA Engagement.
How Defect Retesting Works
A retest is not a revision of my work. Your developers fix the defects; I verify the fixes. Release Readiness and Full QA Audit each include one retest round. Bug Sweep can add one for $175.
A retest round includes
- Defects originally reported during your engagement
- Verification that each reported fix behaves as expected
- Updated pass/fail status on the original findings
A retest round does not include
- New features or functionality added after testing
- Changes to functionality that was already tested
- Unrelated regression testing across the product
One retest round covers defects originally reported during the engagement. New features, functionality changes, or unrelated regression testing are considered additional scope.
What a QA Engagement Does Not Cover
These require specialized tooling and credentials, and are not included in — or represented as part of — any QA package.
Accessibility, performance, and security concerns noticed during testing are reported as observations, so you know where to look next. They are not a certification or a clean bill of health.
Software can pass testing and still contain defects. What you receive is a Release Readiness Assessment and a QA Release Recommendation — never a launch guarantee.
Help Me Test What “Correct” Looks Like
What to send
To accurately evaluate your application, please provide any available requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, designs, product documentation, or business rules.
No formal documentation?
That doesn’t automatically prevent testing. Testing may still be performed based on observable behavior, information provided during your consultation, communicated business rules, and generally expected user behavior.
However, undocumented or undisclosed requirements cannot be independently verified and may be reported as observations or clarification items rather than confirmed defects.
Ready to Know What’s Working—and What Isn’t?
Start by telling me about your project. I’ll review your request and determine whether it’s a fit for my QA services.
Project inquiry is free. QA Scope & Strategy is $300 for qualifying engagements.
